About the Co-Producers
Jason Steinberg
Jason Steinberg is the founder and managing partner of Steinberg Talent Management Group (STMG), a premier talent management company established in 1996. A Brooklyn native and NYU alum, Jason began his career at the Boston Comedy Club in NYC, where he discovered and developed comedians who have since become household names — including Dave Chappelle, Joe Rogan, Jim Breuer, Jeff Ross, Wanda Sykes, and Dane Cook. Over nearly three decades, he has been instrumental in launching the careers of Bill Burr, Patrice O'Neal, and Nate Bargatze, and continues to manage Donnell Rawlings, Tony Woods, and Aaron Berg. His deep relationships with streaming platforms, casting directors, and booking agents keep STMG at the center of the comedy industry.
Vickie Wang
Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Vickie Wang began her comedy career under censorship in Shanghai in 2017. Her stand-up blends sharp cross-cultural observation with storytelling about identity, language, and censorship — and, yes, cats. She has opened for Atsuko Okatsuka and Jenny Yang and appeared at the inaugural Asian food + comedy festival Belly Laughs in Los Angeles. Her show, Wang's World Comedy — co-produced with veteran talent manager Jason Steinberg — was featured in the 2025 New York Comedy Festival.
A professional interpreter and writer, she has written for The New York Times, and her comedy has been highlighted by NPR, The New Yorker, and The World Journal. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, she founded the communications agency Happy Medium Studio, providing bilingual content, linguistic, and consulting services to clients such as Microsoft, IBM, The Paris Review, and the New York Immigration Coalition.
