March Comedy Madness is the ultimate stand up comedy competition, bringing comedians at all levels from the entire region to compete for the title of New York’s Next Big Comedy Star!
About March Madness
Comics will submit their best 3 minute video clips hoping to get selected as one of the 64 competitors to perform LIVE in New York City at The Grisly Pear Midtown. Beginning March 5, selected performers will compete in Head to Head Rounds of increasing length leading to a FINAL ROUND SHOW April 2 to crown New York City’s Next Big Comedy Star.
Submissions
Submissions will be open January 1 through 31 2026, with participants announced March 1, and shows throughout the month. Winners will receive a cash prize, paid spots at The Grisly Pear Comedy Club, and most importantly bragging rights as the winner of New York’s most prestigious comedy competition.
