Desi Alexander is a stand up comic/actor from Baltimore with a limitless talent to bring to the stage. Having a growing audience of over 600,000 followers that he entertains daily. He was a school teacher by day and comic by night before following his dream full time. His late father, named him after a bit from “Eddie Murphy Delirious” and the rest is history. He’s evolved into not only a great comic, but a writer and actor also featuring in movies and television. You can also catch his comedy sketch show series “Tonight’s Special Guest” on Amazon. He has also had a role in “Big 50,” “Sweet Dreams,” “Check Please” (Tubi) You don’t want to miss a show with Desi! He has performed with Kevin Hart, Chris Tucker, Tommy Davidson, Paul Mooney, and many other countless legends in comedy. He also writes and directs his own productions. This year Desi is headlining his own tour creating the “The Moving Target tour” all over the country.

The Grisly Pear Midtown features a full kitchen serving a Mexican-inspired bar menu, including tacos, burgers, and fresh donuts. Additionally the bar has everything from classic beers to our signature cocktail, the Fiery Scotsman. Each show requires a two item minimum purchase in addition to your ticket, or you can skip the show and dine without a ticket in our restaurant area.
